- 1 1/2 tsp. turmeric (dried)
- 3 cloves garlic (peeled)
- 3 tsp. onion powder
- 2 Tbsp. Malaysian meat curry powder (see Notes)
- 40 grams olive oil
- 1 star anise
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 400 mL coconut milk
- 50 grams water
- 500 grams chicken breast (*large* chunks)
- 500 grams sweet potato (peeled, medium dice)
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 tsp. coconut sugar (or brown sugar/rapadura/white sugar)
