- ganache (Bittersweet Chocolate)
- 5 oz. unsweetened chocolate (chopped, I tend to not use unsweetened cocoa, I use either bittersweet chocolate chips, or a combination of semi-sweet and bittersweet)
- 1/4 cup butter (chilled, cut into ½-inch cubes)
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
- 3/4 cup sugar
