Turned out OK. Was very small but good enough for a late night snack. I did sprinkle powdered sugar on top for added sweetness. As others have mentioned might try chocolate chips or Nutella if I make it again.

It was okay but something tasted off it may be my ingredients but it may be the recipe. It turned out okay, but I don’t think I’ll be making it again.

I subbed honey for sugar and it came out with a very nice texture, although I might double the recipe if I'm having a REALLY bad day. Wished I had some vanilla ice cream to go with. I might sweeten the peanut butter slightly with a little maple syrup next time since I used the all natural stuff.

Made this twice. Followed the recipe the first time, but found it not sweet enough. Doubled the sugar the second time, and sweetened the peanut butter with about a teaspoon of sugar. Much better. A lot of these cakes in a mug call fo egg, and it’s just too small for an egg.

Yum! The best mug cake I’ve had. And the easiest. It looked like it would be too small, but it was rich and filling. This is the first mug cake I’ve had that tasted pretty close to “real” cake. I used melted butter instead of oil, stirred in some sprinkles and topped with jam. This is my new go-to midnight snack

Eh..not really sweet at all, tried it with peanut butter.
it's alright, it is super moist. wondering if I microwaved it long enough. had to go over the time limit ( 60sec ) a bit. drizzled honey on top to make it sweeter.
doesn't rise that much so the batter you make is pretty much what you get (not a bad thing).
.
Maybe next time I'll add more sugar or try it with jam in the center. 🤔

I wasn't really impressed with the taste of this. It felt like it needed way more sugar, perhaps the chocolate chip suggestion would improve it. It was difficult to tell if the batter was miced so I ended up with some flour on the bottom after they were cooked (although this could just be my fault). The cake also didn't seem to rise much, although there were still enough bites to be as much as a slice.

I've made it with and without peanut butter, and it does, as the recipie suggests, need an additional sweetener, whether chocolate chips or a jelly, preserve, or something else.

After I was done mixing I thought "this is so small I have to double it" so I did and it overfilled the container so please if it looks small keep it that way. But overall it was good! I loved the taste but I had to add more sugar

'The One' indeed...my go to cake from now on...i could use a little more sugar and I used crunchy peanut butter and it was just beautiful...And the best part is it uses no eggs...a must try...

Maybe I just had high expectations but this mug cake is not "the one" for me. Very heavy and if you're in WW not worth the 12 points (of course I find out too late😐)

Delicious! This mug cake lived up to the description: satisfies a craving, but isn't too sweet. Wonderful texture. Will definitely make again!

Nice! Nice flavour. Satisfies a craving. If do it again!
The peanut butter makes the difference and it's not spongy!

Delicious! Quick & easy!
I used coconut milk & coconut oil in mine. Nutella in the middle & a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar on top before cooking it. WOW!!!!
