- 1 bunch fresh asparagus (bottoms removed and cut into 1 inch pieces)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/8 cup rice wine (or dry sherry)
- 1/4 sweet onion (large, diced)
- 2 cloves garlic (crushed)
- 1/2 Tbsp. fresh ginger (grated or crushed)
- 1 tsp. palm sugar (or brown sugar)
- water
- tofu
- 2 Tbsp. hoisin sauce
- 1 Tbsp. black vinegar (or balsamic vinegar, I used rice vinegar)
- 2 Tbsp. palm sugar (or brown sugar)
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 5 1/2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 clove garlic (fresh, crushed)
- 2 tsp. fresh ginger (grated)
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. rice wine (or dry sherry, I didn't use this)
- 3 Tbsp. water

I used ramen noodles instead of rice which was Awesome! I also added red and yellow pepper. I replaced the onion with two shallots. It came out amazing! I couldn’t believe I made it! It was better than a Chinese restaurant! I also made the tofu the way I prefer to make it. Salt, pepper and corn starch then fried in grape seed oil. BEST TOFU EVER. You can eat it like popcorn it’s so good!! We will be making this again!
