- 1/3 cup black bean paste (chunjang, fermented, ; found in Korean markets)
- 2 Tbsp. bean sauce (ground, found in Asian markets; Koon Chun with the yellow and blue label is a good one)
- 2 Tbsp. hoisin sauce (found in Asian markets; Koon Chun with the yellow and blue label is a good one)
- 1 Tbsp. miso paste
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup water
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch (mixed with 3 tablespoons water)
- 1/2 tsp. sesame oil (pure)
