- 4 slices white bread (Pepperidge Farm, crusts removed)
- 3 lb. lobsters (parcooked and meat removed from shells)
- 12 slices bacon
- 8 slices white bread (Pepperidge Farm, lightly toasted)
- 8 tsp. aioli (sambal)
- 2 heads bibb lettuce (or Boston, the best inner leaves only)
- 4 slices heirloom tomato (medium gorgeous, about 1/4 inch thick)
- 1 large egg yolk
- 4 cups peanut oil
- 8 Tbsp. unsalted butter
