- 1 1/4 cups mayonnaise (use Japanese mayo, if possible, but your favorite brand will do)
- 1 Tbsp. melted butter
- 1 tsp. tomato paste (or use sriracha or gochujang for spicier versions - I make mine with 1 tablespoon spicy sriracha)
- 1 tsp. honey (or use agave, or sugar)
- 1 tsp. cayenne powder
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 Tbsp. water (or as needed for thinning)
- 1 dash hot sauce (for a spicy version, if using tomato paste)
