- 3 Tbsp. unsalted butter (cubed)
- 75 grams dark chocolate (Good-Quality, I used a 70% Callebaut, finely chopped)
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups cake flour
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 3/4 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup unsalted butter (slightly soft, but still hard; cut into 1-inch cubes)
- 4 large eggs (room temperature, see this)
- 1 Tbsp. pure vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups whole milk (room temperature)
- 1 1/4 sticks butter (10 tablespoons / 141g / 5 oz unsalted butter, room temperature)
- 4 cups confectioner's sugar
- 4 Tbsp. milk
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
- food coloring (your choice, I use this natural food coloring)
