- 1/4 large tomato (roughly cut into wedges)
- 1/4 green onion (trimmed and chopped)
- 1/4 stalk celery (chopped)
- 1 egg
- 1 baby bok choy (or 1⁄2 cup, 115 g napa cabbage ripped into bite-sized pieces)
- salt (Toasted sesame oil)
- 2 cups red chili powder
- 4 cups canola oil
- 1 Tbsp. Sichuan peppercorns
- 4 star anise pods
- 4 cloves
- 5 bay leaves
- 1 green onion (trimmed and coarsely chopped)
- 1/4 medium red onion (peeled and roughly chopped)
- 2 inches fresh ginger (piece, peeled and roughly sliced)
