- 1 tsp. italian seasoning (blend)
- 2 tsp. kosher salt (plus more for the cooking water)
- 1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 1/4 cup fresh flat leaf parsley (chopped, plus more for garnish)
- 12 pieces pasta (dried lasagna, each 2 1/2 to 3 inches wide and about 13 inches long)
- 1 lb. part skim ricotta cheese
- 1 large egg
- 12 oz. low-fat mozzarella cheese (sliced)
- 3/4 cup parmigiano (freshly grated, Reggiano cheese, plus more for optional garnish)
