Better Homes & Gardens recipe. Sarah Eagle LOVES this one: http://www.bhg.com/recipe/drinks/winter-fruit-sangria/. I don't just use one type of fig, but a couple of different types. I also don't use raisins. I also don't skimp on fruits - add a bit more apricots and double up on the figs.

Directions
- In a saucepan, stir together the dried fruits, brandy and honey. Cook over medium-low heat until simmering. Remove from heat; cool slightly. Add wine; stir.
- Refrigerate overnight
- To serve, strain sangria into a pitcher (I like to serve with all the fruit - best part). Add ice cubes and club soda; stir gently
