Delicious!! I added about a tbsp of lemon juice and some flax seeds. Also exchanged a cup of milk for buttermilk and it was yum! I lean more to buttermilk for breakfast items. That said, I got into a debate about the egg white peaks and how it made the batter look weird. Googled it and apparently egg white peaks were used before baking powder/soda was invented. So its a bit redundant to do both but I find a lot of recipes have that leavening back up. I just thought that egg white peaks were THE step for waffles. Either way, I love cooking so it was fun and amazing and I have left overs for weekday breakfast on the run. FYI- honey is way better on these than maple syrup.
