- 2 Tbsp. sugar (I used demerara, or Sugar in the Raw)
- 19 oz. whole wheat flour (Lindley Mills Super Sprout, for Baking,, or other bread flour--reduce milk to 14-15 oz)
- 1 large egg
- 2 tsp. active dry yeast (instant is fine here too)
- semolina (or farina,, Cream of Wheat for sprinkling on the griddle)
