- 4 oz. blue cheese (crumbled, I used bleu d'auvergne)

- freshly ground black pepper
- 1/4 sour cream (or plain greek yogurt)
- 1/4 cup buttermilk
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice (or white wine vinegar, plus more to taste)
