- 6 cups watermelon (peeled and diced)
- 1/2 cup roasted red peppers (de-seeded and rinsed)
- 1 cucumber (peeled, I used 2 Persian cucumbers, peeled)
- 3 Tbsp. fresh lime juice (divided use)
- 1/2 cup grenadine (start with 1/4 cup and add as needed for taste, be careful with this, you may want to try the soup without any extra sweet at first)
- 1/2 cup bacardi (Gran Melon Rum, I used regular Bacardi, my daughter said it probably doesn’t need the rum at all)
- 3 dashes Tabasco (or more, to your taste, you can use your preferred pepper sauce)
- kosher salt (to taste)
- 2 avocados (ripe)
- 1/2 cup cilantro leaves (chopped)
- 3/4 lb. lump crabmeat (jumbo)
- 2 tsp. black sesame seeds (as needed for the garnish, optional)
