- 9 oz. tortellini (dried, with cheese filling)
- 1 head broccoli
- 1/2 red bell pepper
- 1/2 yellow bell pepper
- 4 slices bacon
- grana (grated, Padana to serve, optional)
- 2 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
- 4 Tbsp. olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic (crushed)
- salt
- pepper

Directions
- Boil the tortellini in a pot of salted water according to the package instructions. It usually takes 15-18 min.
- Cut the bacon in thin strips and fry on medium heat. Start with a cold pan so more fat can be rendered without getting burned. When golden and crisp transfer the bacon to some paper towels to remove the excess fat.
- Chop the bell peppers into medium sized pieces.
