The Old Fashioned is a perfect sipping cocktail, especially during the holidays or when you’re entertaining at home. This week, I’m celebrating Thanksgiving with this strong, alcohol-forward bourbon cocktail. To make this classic more festive, I added pure maple syrup as the sweetener and a few dashes of black walnut bitters. The maple syrup and walnut bitters compliment each other beautifully, and really showcase the bourbon in this cocktail. Happy Thanksgiving!
