    This has the consistency of a liege. Very good. Need to be careful not to over mix the flour. Trying these with cake flour and Belgian ball sugar mixed into the mix.

    more dense than light and fluffy. I also thought it was weird it didn't call for vegetable oil and I think that's why the taste is off for me

    Solid waffle recipe. I alternated mixing in the milk with the flour, in three rounds. Without the milk it was too dry to mix well. But good taste. Our toddler loves it.

    I had to use my homemade dairy free butter and vanilla almond milk because of an allergy that I have to mammal and mammal by-products, but they turned out quite yummy! My picky children even liked them. Mine also turned out a little dense put it could be because I used the paddle attachment on my mixer instead of the wisk. Next time, I am going to use it to try to make them fluffier. :)

    Great recipe! Sweet and fluffy but i did make a couple changes. warmed up milk slightly so it wasnt cold and then mixed all wet ingredients together. then mixed wet into dry ingredients. I whipped the egg whites separately and folded them into the batter. The waffles turned out extremely fluffy. I am wondering how to get a bit of a crust on the outside of a waffle???

    I don't know if I missed something but they were really heavy. If you like thick cake like waffles then these are for you. I will look for something a lighter and fluffier. The taste was good though.

    The order of the directions doesn’t make sense to me. Mixing the eggs with the sugar then the flour makes a lumpy mix. By the time you add the milk there are clumps in the batter. Luckily the clumps seem to be butter. If the milk is too cold the butter solidifies. There seems to be too much sugar in the recipe for me though. No need for syrup or powdered sugar. The taste is good.
