    It was pretty good and easy. Also tried it with jarred marinara sauce jazzed up with extra spices and it was just as good.

    It was good. Only added half of the vodka for fear of a strong vodka taste. Subbed heavy cream for 1/4 cup of greek yogurt. Added a little bit of dried basil, oregano and thyme. Had it with spaghetti squash, I'll be making it again :)

    This is a great foundation recipe. I added dried basil, reduced the garlic, and combined with fresh baby spinach, spicy Italian pork sausage. Add rigatoni pasta (or another sturdy noodle), cooked al dente, for a wonderful rigatoni barese.

    EXCELLENT! Very flavorable. I strongly recommend this recipe if you like Vodka Sauce. The only changes I made was adding some diced red bell pepper with the shallots when sauteing ( just because I had some from my garden) and I used fresh diced tomatoes, instead of canned ( I had those in the garden). I will definitely make it again.

    You need extra time than suggested to simmer off the vodka. I also use slightly less than the 1/3 suggested. I cover and simmer again to taste after adding the heavy cream

    It was amazing. I added extra crushed red pepper to give it a kick. And chicken and sausage and ravioli.

    It's tasty, but seems like it should have basil or oregano I used used some leftover tomato sauce instead of paste (10 oz), tomatoes in green chills and half n half
