- 20 cardamom pods (or 3 tsp ground cardamom, which is what I use)
- 1 egg (slightly beaten)
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup blanched almonds (finely)
- 1 1/4 cups powdered sugar (sifted)
- 1 tsp. light corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 light cream (or and-half)
