The recipe doesn't indicate how much to boil the cider. I didn't have a donut mold, so I used a three inch diameter drinking glass. Without holes, my donuts needed 3 min. on each side. I also would have formed dough to a half inch, not three quarters, because they inflate so much in the fryer. At three quarters of an inch, they come out looking more like fritters. They taste great, though. Just need more precision in the directions.
