- 2 tsp. toasted sesame oil (I replace 1 teaspoon with hot sesame oil — delicious)
- 1 egg (lightly beaten)
- 1 tsp. kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 40 wonton wrappers (small)
- 5/16 cup chicken stock (or water)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. rice vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. dark sesame oil (or 1/2 tablespoon dark, 1/2 tablespoon hot sesame oil)
- 1 clove minced garlic (optional)
- 1 slice peeled fresh ginger
- 1/4 cup sesame paste (Asian, or smooth peanut butter)
- 3 Tbsp. sesame oil (Asian)
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar (not seasoned)
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 1 tsp. chile paste with garlic (Asian)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
