- 2 cups kale (cleaned/cut off rib/cut into bite size pieces)
- 3 Tbsp. olive oil (or an oil or butter of your choice)
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- 1 pinch nutmeg
- 1 pinch red chili flakes (optional)

I add one potato and a can of white beans for a little protein. One tablespoon of olive oil is plenty. I’ve made this several times. It’s delicious!

Very simple and flavourful recipe, added a dash of Worcestershire Sauce for some more body and subbed out the Kale for Cabbage. Great Winter warmer.
