- olive oil (as needed)
- 1 head broccoli (chopped into florets, and stem peeled and chopped into pieces)
- 1 head garlic
- 1/4 inch cloves
- sea salt
- 2 Tbsp. maple syrup (optionally you coud try agave)
- 2 Tbsp. white wine vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes (optional depending on taste)
- 1/4 cup toasted walnuts (coarsely chopped, optional)
