- 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/4 cup applesauce (Sprouts Pumpkin Spice, if you cannot get this, just sub with plain pumpkin puree)
- 3/4 cup butter (roasted pecan, or you can sub with almond butter, just make sure it's a very smooth roasted drippy kind and not stiff and chunky. I make my own butters)
- 2 Tbsp. unsulphured molasses (not blackstrap Sugar)
- 1 1/4 cups oat flour (I used gluten-free by Bob's Red Mill)
- 3 Tbsp. tapioca starch
- 1 Tbsp. pumpkin pie spice (Sprouts, See Note 2 for sub)
- 1/4 tsp. fine sea salt
- 1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips (dairy-free, plus extra for top)
