Ingredients

- 250 grams flour (plain, all-purpose)
- 40 grams icing (powdered sugar)
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 150 grams butter (5 ⅓ oz / ½ cup + 2Tbsp vegan block, /margarine, NOT the spreadable kind. I use Naturli vegan block cold and diced)
- 1 Tbsp. vodka (cold, optional)
- ice water (as needed)
- 180 mL maple syrup
- 150 grams dark brown soft sugar (¾ cup + 1 Tbsp)
- 80 grams vegan butter (/margarine, I use Naturli vegan block)
- 250 grams firm silken tofu (not regular tofu* excess liquid drained off, no need to press it though)
- 35 grams cornflour (cornstarch)
- 2 Tbsp. rum (or bourbon, optional. Add an extra tsp of vanilla if omitting)
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 200 grams chopped pecans (roughly)
- 120 grams pecan halves (4 oz / scant cup)
