- 1/2 cup coconut milk (canned, full fat, more if creamier consistency is desired)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 5 Tbsp. olive oil (divided into 2 Tbsp + 3 Tbsp)
- 2 cups mushrooms (chopped, any kind)
- 2 cups yellow onion (chopped)
- 3 cloves garlic (chopped)
- 1/2 cup white rice flour (or brown)
- 1/2 cup tamari (or coconut aminos for soy free)
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 2 tsp. fresh thyme
- 2 tsp. fresh rosemary
- 1 tsp. black pepper (fresh)
