- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 4 tsp. gingerbread spice (I used my blend OR see Notes at the bottom of this recipe)
- 1/2 tsp. fine sea salt
- 3/4 cup pure maple syrup (room temp)
- 1 cup unsweetened applesauce (room temp)
- 1/4 cup unsulphured molasses (do not use blackstrap or sub!)
- 2 Tbsp. hot water
