- black pepper (to taste)
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 28 oz. crushed tomatoes (or of diced)
- 3 Tbsp. tomato paste
- 2 tsp. maple syrup (or organic sugar)
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- fresh basil (Handful of coarsely chopped)
