Nice and moist! I used 5 medium bananas and added just a splash of olive oil, and used maple syrup instead of vanilla as I had run out of it. Simple and delicious and quick to mix together, the longest wait is waiting for it to bake (about an hour, like an bread) and then cool down so you can finally eat it!

delicious chocolatey goodness 😋 replaced the walnuts with chopped dates and realized after i started that i don't even own a loaf pan, but it worked inside a square pan if a little flatter than i'd have liked. if you end up in the same situation somehow then pull the bread out around 10-15 minutes sooner.

My oh my, this was beautiful. If your used to being served stodgy, dense banana bread then you need to share this recipe. I've made good ones, bad ones but this was so far the best. I made three small ones out of the recipe and two were demolished at a party with the same guys going back for more. Make it!
