- 2 cups nuts (I use a combination of raw almonds, walnuts, and pistachios)
- 10 medjool dates (soft)
- lemon (zest of a)
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 slices lemon
- 1/4 cup water (or orange juice)
- 6 Tbsp. oil (or butter I used a mix of oil and melted vegan butter)
- 2 Tbsp. pistachio (finely chopped, for topping)
