- 1 1/2 cups unsalted vegetable stock (Kitchen Basics®)
- 6 oz. tomato paste
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. molasses
- 2 cloves garlic (fresh, finely chopped)
- 2 tsp. paprika (McCormick Gourmet™ Organic, Smoked)
- 1/4 tsp. chile pepper (McCormick Gourmet™, Chipotle)
- 2 cans jackfruit (20 ounces each young, in brine, drained)

Directions
- Mix stock, tomato paste, brown sugar, vinegar, molasses, garlic and spices in slow cooker. Add jackfruit. Cover.
- Cook 8 hours on LOW or 4 hours on HIGH, stirring halfway through cooking.
- Shred jackfruit in slow cooker. Serve on rolls, if desired.
