- 1/2 cup plain whole milk yogurt
- 1/4 cup water

- 1 tsp. dried mango powder (Amchur powder)
- 1 tsp. fenugreek (dried)
- 4 dried plums (Aloo Bukhare)

- 2 bay leaf (Tej Patta)
- 1 whole mace (Javantri)
- 1 tsp. salt (or to taste)
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/4 cup oil (or Ghee)
- 1 large onion
- 1/2 cup oil (for frying)
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 3 lemon slices
- 1/2 tsp. Biryani Masala
- 1/8 tsp. orange food coloring (dissolve it in 2-3 tablespoons water)
- 10 saffron
- 1/4 cup warm water
