- 1 cup cream (whole)
- 1/3 cup sugar (I use brown sugar – I think it adds to the flavor – but you're welcome to use regular white sugar)
- 1 Tbsp. sugar (extra)
- 1 pod vanilla bean seeds (scrape out and keep seeds)
- 1 tsp. grated nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
