I did not see that I should double the spices so I will try that next time, but it was so moist and tasty. After doubling the spices and adding a cinnamon sugar topping from the smitten kitten recipe, I think it will be the perfect bread.

I would make with 1.5 times the spices next time. Still very good. I also would start checking the oven after 50 minutes. Mine cooked faster than recipe calls for.

Agree with some of the other reviews, I doubled the spices and I’m glad I did

Tried one with fresh pumpkin from our garden. Turned out so good I made one for my folks and grandparents and they all loved it. Huge hit. Thank you for such a great recipe

Recipe was fine but I added Jessica’s adds from below and it made it so much better!

Made the recipe as printed - it's quite tasty and has a very nice density to it, but I think it does need more spices and at least vanilla extract. Just came back to recipe and wish I'd read Jessica's review below - think her adds will make this even better!

I added maple and vanilla and used cheesecake flavored pudding. I also tripled the spices. Fresh cloves and Simon cinnamon.

This was the best pumpkin bread I’ve ever made and I even cut the sugar in half. I also added 1/2 teaspoon of salt. This bread is very moist. Warning: the recipe calls for 3/4 cup of flour, but once you read the directions you’ll realize that’s a misprint. Use 1 and 3/4 cups of flour and the bread will turn out.
