- pepper
- 1 tsp. dried thyme (or other herbs and/or spices of choice)
- 250 grams spiral pasta (uncooked, See Note 1 for other shapes)
- 1 1/2 cups chicken broth (/stock, preferably warmed)
- 2 cups milk (preferably warmed, any fat %)
- 1 large garlic clove (minced)
- 2 Tbsp. butter (optional)
- 1 broccoli (large, or 2 medium broccoli or cauliflower, broken into small to medium florets, Note 2 for subs)
- 150 grams shredded cheese (any melting type, Note 3)
- 1/4 cup flour (all purpose / plain)

Really easy to make and nice flavours.
Didn't like the texture of the chicken though, tasted boiled. Might be nicer if the chicken was quickly sealed in a pan first.

Got to say this was delicious. I didn’t follow the recipe exactly as I made the sauce separately...... was lovely. I cooked chicken pieces and then threw it together. I have never thought of just putting the uncooked pasta in the pan and pouring the sauce over. Really good recipe. You could also do variations on this using mushrooms or peas and corn etc. Impressed

I made a veggie version too, with quorn pieces and veg stock.
