    i added some sundried tomatoes and it had an amazing flavor.

    great sandwich as a base i made quite a few changes, carmalized my onions in strips with balsamic then after that reduced added brown sugar also thinly sliced green apples.

    The fresh herbs with the caramelized onions really make this recipe. I added some mushrooms when I was sautéing the onions. I skipped the mayo, and I only used cheddar cheese.
