- 2 yellow onions (diced)
- 1 tsp. fresh thyme (minced)
- 2 tsp. fresh rosemary (minced, divided)

Everyone liked it, I didn’t eat it too much cheese but it smelled delicious and was a little unique with the herbs

great sandwich as a base i made quite a few changes, carmalized my onions in strips with balsamic then after that reduced added brown sugar also thinly sliced green apples.

The fresh herbs with the caramelized onions really make this recipe. I added some mushrooms when I was sautéing the onions. I skipped the mayo, and I only used cheddar cheese.
