- 1 cup whole buttermilk
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract

- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3.4 oz. instant pudding mix (vanilla flavored)
- 1 tsp. kosher salt
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 drops red food coloring gel (optional)
- strawberries (optional garnish: extra)
- 1.2 oz. freeze-dried strawberries
- 1/4 cup butter (softened to room temperature)
- 4 oz. cream cheese (softened to room temperature)
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup milk (whole, or milk of choice- to loosen the icing)

This is such a “hidden gem” recipe! It has the perfect flavor in both the Bundt cake and the icing. I did not have Buttermilk so I used 2% milk and it was fine. I also used about 1/4 cup less sugar in both. I also did not have freeze dried strawberries so I used fresh strawberries as the purée.
