As their name suggests, these potatoes are first baked until tender, then hollowed out and stuffed with a rich and creamy mash of the potato flesh with butter, sour cream, and garlic. Finally, they're topped with cheddar cheese and baked again. The recipe is a Yummly original created by Sara Mellas.

  • 4 russet potatoes (large)
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup milk (or half and half, plus more as needed)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 ounces shredded cheddar cheese (3 oz. is about 3/4 cup)
  • paprika (for serving)

Fantastic!!! I added cheese to the mixture as well and topped it off with more cheese. I had left over taco meat so I stuffed my personal potato with it! DELICIOUS

Turned out amazing! I didn’t put them in aluminum foil, for the 70 minutes. It made the skin extra crunchy and yummy. I also added bacon bites, for extra flavor.

These turned out great. I made the potatoes in the microwave and finished them off in the oven. I added onion powder, cheese and butter to the potatoes for a little more flavor. Next time I'll probably use fresh garlic instead of powdered and a little ranch seasoning.

These were just basic OK twice-baked potatoes. I’ve made better ones before. Up the seasoning and maybe add bacon. I’d also mix some cheese into the potato mix so that you get a good blend with every bite.
Tasty! I did add more seasoning to my liking, but otherwise the recipe was a hit with my family!

It turned out really good it just take too long. Next time I’ll add bacon and maybe something like cut scallion to add in the top to make it look good

Was really bland, I would recommend adding some garlic or maybe onion powder.
