- 1 1/2 tsp. ginger (freshly grated, be sure to peel off the skin)
- 1 tsp. turmeric (freshly grated)
- 1/2 tsp. turmeric powder (you can easily find the powder at any Indian grocery store, or online via various vendors)
- 1 tsp. chia seeds
- 3 Tbsp. maple syrup (or honey)
- 1/2 lime (squeezed)
- 1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup water
- club soda (or seltzer water for preparation)
- 1 cup fresh turmeric (chopped finely)
- 5 Tbsp. sweetener (your choice, examples: dark maple syrup, raw honey, date paste, or beet crystals)
- 1 tsp. ginger (ground)
- 1 dash black pepper
- 3 slices lime (or of lemon)
- 1 dash cayenne
- filtered water
