This salad is super easy to put together, all it takes is 20 minutes. That makes it a great choice to make for lunch or dinner when you are pressed for time and need a healthy meal to fuel your day. Black beans and turkey sausage add some protein while corn, red onion, and tomatoes all add tons of flavor and a bit of freshness that makes this salad perfect for hot days.

- 1/2 bell pepper (diced)
- 1 Tbsp. red onion (minced)
- 1 tomato (diced)
- 1/2 cup black beans
- 1/2 cup corn kernels
- lettuce
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- 2 Tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp. balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 lime
- 2 Tbsp. salsa (prepared spicy)
- salt and ground black pepper

Directions
- Mix the sausage, pepper, onion, tomato, beans, and corn together.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the garlic, oil, vinegar, lime juice, salsa, salt, and pepper.
