- 1/2 lb. spaghetti (broken into third sections, cooked and drained Footnote)
- 2 Tbsp. butter (tips & tricks)
- 1/2 cup red onions (chopped)
- 1/2 cup poblano peppers (chopped)
- 1/2 cup orange peppers (chopped)
- 1/2 cup red peppers (or pimientos, chopped)
- 6 oz. cremini mushrooms (sliced)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 Tbsp. unbleached all purpose flour
- 1 cup low sodium chicken broth (or more if needed)
- 10 oz. cream of mushroom (condensed, see Recipe)
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups cooked turkey (cubed see Recipe)
- 1/2 cup frozen peas
- 1/2 tsp. fresh rosemary (chopped tips & tricks)
- 1/4 tsp. ground sage
- 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper (or more to taste)
- freshly ground black pepper (to taste, I always use mixed peppercorns)
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (or more if needed)
- 1/4 tsp. smoked paprika
- 1 Tbsp. fresh chopped parsley (tips & tricks)
