- 4 garlic cloves (minced)

- 1 cup breadcrumbs (I did a mix of Italian-style and Panko)
- 4 portobello mushrooms (large, about 1½ lbs)
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 3 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar

- 1/4 tsp. ground thyme
- 1 1/3 cups vegetable broth
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2/3 cup white wine (or use more broth here!)
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne powder
