it truly was crispy... I ended up using more olive oil and herb than it said, and also added a touch of rosemary, but that was quick and easy to do ... i definitely plan to make this again...

these were fantastic! they are best fresh out of the oven, so timing is key for this side!

The potatoes were flavorful but not really crispy. Or more exactly, only crispy in small spots. I even left them in for 30 minutes to try to get a crispy top but to no avail. Followed directions exactly except for omitting the thyme because we didn't have any in house. Don't know what I'm doing wrong.

My family loves these. We add double the butter, whoops but delicious! Almost tastes like french fries.

Delish! I’ve made fried smashed potatoes before but this technique is the winner. Absolutely loved the crispy edges and I served this with rib-eye steak, sautéed mushrooms, horseradish sauce and salad.

Very easy to make and very tasty. Pair it with kidney and beef sauté is onion, garlic and herbs..

even though i parboiled these marble sized potatoes for 25 minutes and baked them fo twenty minutes more they were under done.

I cut my potatoes so they would cook quicker. Ended up a little dry. Good flavor though.
