- 1/8 tsp. liquid smoke (see link above)
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 4 red onions (medium, halved, thinly sliced)
- 2 Tbsp. balsamic glaze
- 2 pinches sea salt
- 1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
