Best Trail mix cookies ever! I didn't have rolled oats, so I used what I had, steel cut oats. I figured I'd probably be throwing these out, but nooo, they turned out BETTER than if I had used rolled oats! I'm addicted now! Because I like lots of chunky goodness, I modified the recipe a little-replaced choc chips with cranberries, added chopped Brazil nuts (excellent, who knew?!) To the other raisins, walnuts and sunflower seeds. All the add ins I used larger amounts than recipe called for and used a little less of the sugars too. Replaced cinnamon with ground ginger. They are seriously delish! Made my second batch yesterday.
