First time I baked something! It was quite challenging because of the stickiness but in the end it turned out great. Thanks for the recipe

These biscottis are delicious! The crunch, orange and almond flavour can’t be beat. Having said that I had to make some changes for taste and to complete the recipe.
Oven temp - 350 for 40 minutes for the first bake, cool for 10 minutes then slice. Reduce temperature to 200 for the second bake, 10 minutes each side. They will be crisp and crunchy but not rock hard.
For the recipe I reduced the amount of white sugar to 1/2 cup and reduced the amount of almonds to 1 1/2 cups and cut them in half. I also increased the amount of orange zest by using the zest of 2 medium oranges. Make sure to apply the egg wash on the logs before you pop them in the oven.
These are truly addictive and worth the work. Highly recommended.

I make this recipe often. Mixing the ingredients is challenging but the results are worth it .

Excellent recipe. I added an additional egg because the “dough was dry” The biscottis are the best tasting recipe I’ve ever made. “Bakery quality”
