- 1 Tbsp. fruit liqueur (/brandy OR Schwarzwaelder Kirschwasser)
- 1/4 tsp. ammonium carbonate (Hirschhornsalz, OR, available here)
- 1 lemon (OR ½ orange)
- 500 grams flour (all-purpose, bleached)
- 2 Tbsp. anise seeds
- potato starch (for rolling the dough, available from Bob’s Red Mill and in the aisles of kosher foods at grocery stores)
