I also used the Pepperidge Farm sage and onion bread cubes. I used far less sage as a result. Just a pinch really. Also added fresh thyme because I had it, and added mushrooms. My stuffing was dry, but I noticed at the beginning it seemed dry, so that's a learning experience for me. The flavor was absolutely perfect, but I'll just be sure to add more liquid next time. And there will be a next time! I liked having one less thing to put in the oven.

The stuffing was moist, just the way I like it. ( I cooked it on low for 5 hrs, and warm for 1 hr.) I cut recipe in half, I used Peppridge Farm onion and sage bread cubes. I also added chopped carrots, and 1/2 cup of white wine with the chicken stock. I liked convenience of using the slow cooker to free up space in my oven.
