Nice simple recipe for bolognese sauce. I added 1 tsp of salt and 1 tsp of pepper instead of 1/2 tsp. I also added 1 tsp of sugar to balance any acidity from the tomato purée. I added two bay leaves to the sauce as well. In the last 30 minutes I added some more salt and pepper to taste.

delicious! I used 2 medium sized carrots instead of celery, one and a half onion, half cup of white wine and it turned out amazing. Made it a couple of times now and it's always a crowd pleaser ;)
edit : still making this, wanted to add that i now use 3 carrots ( two of them grated and the other sliced) and 2 white onions, sauteed on its own first.
